Run, Enriko, Run!

I love jogging and I recommend everyone to do it. It help me to feel better everyday with myself. It makes me think about the things that happend to me during the day and it's good to forget the problems as well. Therefore is good to be fit and to burn all the rubbish that you're eating during the day even when you're trying to avoid it. At the begining is difficult to start because your bodies are not use to suffer but in a couple of weeks you can see the benefits of doing sport. Honestly I used to be very fat and now I feel very well doing that exercise. So if you want to join me jogging around Arthur's Seat just let me know.

News

Alan Wilder is still recording in his studio. I'm still waiting for the new work.
The Thin Line, Alan Wilder's studio is set deep in the Sussex countryside and offers an atmosphere conducive to his unique style of music production. Conceived as a self-contained, purpose-built programming and recording environment, it is housed within a large, open-plan building and contains an assortment of classic analogue and cutting-edge digital recording equipment.
The original property which dates back to the mid. 19th century had suffered from years of ill-conceived alteration, all but draining the building of it's very life force. Alan was moved to resuscitate it, re-creating what he describes as:
"a living, breathing space designed not necessarily for controlled sound but with the feel of a workshop, with plenty of light."

New depeche mode DVD is out today. Touring the angel is the title of this work and is about the last depeche mode tour. It was filmed in Italy during this year. Its a double DVD with an interview and two extra songs apart from an audio CD.

Otra baja en Edinburgh

No se si habeis notado que el numero de espanoles en Edinburgh esta bajando considerablemente. Ahora el turno es de Jordi, que decide cambiar de ciudad y se nos va para Suiza. Este majete catalan solia currar en un pub que hay justo al lado de mi casa y le veia casi a diario. Ademas de esto siempre coincidiamos en las fiestas y alguna que otra taramilla nos la hemos corrido juntos (uyy que mal suena esto). En fin que me estoy quedando sin compania espanola en Edinburgh. Ya solo voy a entablar amistad con polacos y otros foraneos que son los que se quedan por mas espacio de tiempo. El tambien lleva aqui un rato, igual es que lo he conocido un poco tarde. En fin Jordi, good luck y ya te pasare a hacer una visitilla en un futuro no muy lejano.

Feliz Navidad

No me he vuelto loco no. Aun no hemos llegado a Octubre pero ya me tengo que poner a pensar en las navidades. El ano pasado me fui todas las navidades a pasarlas con mi familia pero este ano me gustaria hacer algo diferente. Este ano voy a adelantar la visita a casa y me parece un poco absurdo ir otra vez por navidades a Madrid. Teniendo en cuenta que la juventud solo pasa una vez me gustaria disfrutarla en otro sitio que no sea ni Madrid ni Edinburgh en donde ya se como funciona por haberlas pasado una vez alli (en el caso de Edinburgh).
Me tengo que empezar a poner nervioso respecto a este tema porque no me gustaria ir solo y si alguien se anima se pueden ver vuelos ahora, ya que luego me temo que los precios pueden ser abusivos. Si nadie se anima imagino que este ano tocara Edinburgh de nuevo asi que siempre son bienvenidas visitas durante este entranable momento de paz y armonia con motivo del nacimiento del nino Jesus. Que os parece la idea?



I've got the idea of going on holidays to another country during Christmas holidays. I don't know what do you think about it but I think it could be a good experience. I really don't like the idea of going alone so if you want to organise this journey with me is better if we find out the information as soon as we can becuase later on will be more expensive. I know Christmas is time to be with relatives but you've been doing that along many years don't you? If you are interested just let me know and we can talk about that. Anyway if I have to go on my own I think I'll be in Edinburgh so everyone is invited to come and have good time here.

Comportamiento antisocial

Si algo me molesta en Edinburgh es el comportamiento antisocial de algunas personas, especialmente despues de un acontecimiento deportivo o los fines de semana despues de la borrachera.
Primera cosa que me cabrea es que todo el mundo tira la basura en el suelo aun teniendo una papelera a solo unos decimetros de distancia. Los autobuses parecen autenticos basureros y en sus suelos y asientos puedes encontrar de todo lo que te pueda pasar por la cabeza.
Los adolescentes suben a estos autobuses y beben y fuman sin que nadie les diga nada de nada, aun teniendo las camaras de Gran Hermano que aqui todo lo controlan. Las potitas e incluso pises estan al orden del dia los fines de semana por las bonitas calles de Edinburgh y por sus autobuses. Si os digo la verdad casi todo ocurre en estos autobuses, pero es que todo se permite.
El otro dia iba una chica hablando por el movil en el bus y un viejo borracho la dijo estas bonitas palabras: "Callate puta, a nadie le interesa tu puta conversacion". Todo el autobus se quedo bocas con el viejo, pero nadie le dijo nada. A mi me apetecia partirle la boca por capullo pues la chica no molestaba en absoluto y el iba insultando a todo el mundo que se le antojaba menos a aquel que pudiera partirle, pero me senti impotente y simplemente me quede calladito como el resto de las personas que habia en el bus.
Hoy mismo de vuelta a casa me he cruzado con los fans del Rangers que jugaban en el estadio del Hibs que esta a unos metros de mi casa. La mayoria iban bastante perjudicados y he visto unas cuantas rabas por el camino pero lo mejor viene cuando me cruzo a un tipo con capucha y una mascara antiradiacion de la segunda guerra mundial y me dice: "you fucking prick" que viene a ser algo como "puto cabron". El tipo no pesaba ni 30 kilos y me han dado ganas de darle un mamporro por idiota, pero como sabeis yo soy pacifico y solo violento de pensamiento. He pasado de el y de los posibles amiguetes que podia tener por detras y me he ido a casa como aquel que aun no se entera de lo que escucha en ingles.
No me gusta hablar mal de Edinburgh o de sus gentes porque en general son adorables, pero tontos hay en todos los lugares del mundo. Que le vamos a hacer?

I don't knnow what to tell you

I don't know what could I tell you lately because nothing special is happening to me. Today I went to the cinema for the first time after 3 months. They repainted the cinema in a white colour so I think is going to be dirty soon. I haven't seen Lisa (the enlgish girl) since last weekend so I'm a bit sad for that. I think I don't fancy her at all. Anyway there're many girls in the world and maybe I have to look for another one. Yesterday I was jogging under a heavy rain with my fucking football team. They are cracy and I'm going to catch neumonia.

Good luck Muciok

Today another friend left Edinburgh. This was the turn of Muciok. He is a great guy and I'm going to miss him a lot. I met him because he was working with me for a period of time in the college. He went out with me sometimes and we had good fun. Best wishes my friend and don't forget you got some friends right here. I'll try to visit you with Darren in the future and then you can show us Poland propertly. Powodzenia!

I'm feeling happier

The weather is absolutely fantastic today I've been playing football with my team and also at the Medows with one of the boys. We won 7-1 and I think we are second in the league. I'm happy because that girl who I met last friday wants to go to the cinema this evening so I still get a chance to fall in love (jajajaja). Honestly I think this girl was very friendly and I'd like to know her better than I do. I would tell you how is it going next post. Have a nice day and I'll cross my fingers.

I feel sorrow

Yesterday I went out with some friends and I met a girl who I like. She is from the south of England and she was talking to me quite a lot. She was telling me that she wants to improve her spanish and I agreed in teaching her if she really likes that.
She told me that she would meet me today but I'm still waiting and I'm afraid that it would never happens. Why girls are always doing things like that? I would never find my half orange. At least I've got a picture of that girl with her friend.

My Workplace

Today I'm going to talk about my workplace and my workmates. I took the idea from a friend's blog who already has done it.
I don't have any news yet about the cinema so now I'm doing overtime in the college when I don't have classes.
This is Gary. He is my supervisor and he is in my opinion the friendliest guy over there. He is from Southafrica and he is one of the easiest to understand over here.

This guy is Tom. He is quite old and also he is quite rude agains customers but you can talk to him about everything because he is very experienced in all subjets. Nobody likes Tom in the workplace and everyone is talking bullshit at his back. I agree he is not the best workmate however he is a good person.

The last person to introduce today because I'm in a hurry is Moira. I called her Muppet but that's only a joke between she and I. She is very friendly and a kind person and she has a good sense of humour.

Primera semana de cole

Como ya os conte en anteriores relatos, he empezado un nuevo curso llamado MUSIC PRODUCTION TECHNOLOGY para mejorar mis conocimientos en produccion de musica. De momento solo nos han intruducido todas las asignaturas y nos han dicho cuales van a ser nuestros objetivos y metas en cada una de ellas. Os voy a exlicar las asignaturas y de lo que trata cada una y me decis que os parece. Mi primera impresion ha sido muy buena en cuanto a medios. Tienen buen equipo y en abundancia (no te tienes que estar peleando con los companeros para tocar un piano o un teclado). Los estudios de grabacion y los locales de ensayo tambien son bastante buenos y nos los dejan usar hasta las 9 de la noche todos los dias de lunes a viernes(lo cual esta bastante bien).
Mis asignaturas son:
Music technology projectAqui tenemos que hacer un proyecto que trate de nuestra banda favorita de musica contando el como y el por quue han llegado a estar donde estan. En el segundo cuatrimestre debemos centrarnos en las pistas o canciones basicas y fundamentales que distinguen a esa banda de otras y en el tercer trimestre tenemos que realizar un tema que se asimile al estilo de esta banda que hemos elegido.
Solo keysEn esta simplemente nos ensenan a tocar teclados en condiciones, diferentes acordes, uso de los dedos y demas cosas relacionadas con el manejo de teclados.
NumeracyMatematicas basicas de instituto.

Es una asignatura en las que nos ensenan como pinchar como un DJ

En esta asignatura daremos el uso de distintos sintes y como realizar samplers o usar algunos que ya esten disponibles
Que os parece? Ya os contare como me va y si es tan practico y util para mi como parece desde un primer vistazo.
Communication
Esta asignatura es basicamente ingles y aunque a mi me sirve especialmente por ser extranjero estos chavales lo tienen que dar porque no saben escribir y hablar correctamente en un lenguaje que no sea callejero. (no hablo de mis companeros actuales sino de como funciona la educacion en este pais). Nos ensenaran a hacer cartas formales, papeleo y demas.
Music managing and promoting
Promocion y manejo de un futuro negocio musical y de como promocionarlo. Supongo que es la parte mas teorica de la asignatura junto con ingles y matematicas.
Esto es todo lo que tengo que hacer en un ano academico chavales. Asi que estare entretenido e igual no escribo tanto por aqui. Ciao...

Algo se muere en el alma 2

Ayer fue la leaving party de otra gran amiga que abandona Edinburgh. En este caso fue el turno de Elisa.

Si algo tiene Edinburgh que no me gusta es esto, conoces muchisima gente majisima, pero la mayoria acaban abandonando el barco porque quieren continuar sus vidas en sus respectivos paises. En este caso, la que se marcha es la sevillana con mas marcha que he conocido por estos lares. Cuantas veces me habre encontrado con ella fortuitamente en estas discotecas de moda que nos rodean?. Ya sea tarama o no, siempre tuvo un momento para aguantarme donde quiera que me la encontrara. Tambien he ido de viajecillos por las Highlands con ella y tengo que decir a su favor que fue una buena conductora . Pues nos creais que es facil conducir por la izquierda (y menos siendo mujer). En fin, que desde mi mundo, este es mi pequeno homenaje a Eli. Espero volver a verla as soon as possible ya sea por aqui o por Espana. A ver si me invita a Sevilla a pasa calo un verano de estos. Besos majisima!!

Pasado por agua

Hoy estuve en Newcastle a dos horas y media en bus desde Edinburgh. La ciudad merece la pena, pero no un dia como el que me ha hecho. Estaba lloviendo a cantaros y de manera ininterrumpida. Por suerte mi acompanante ha sido precavido y se ha llevado paraguas lo que nos ha salvado de llegar sopita sopita de verdad. Los pies los tenia fenomenos pero al menos la cabeza no se me ha mojado demasiado. La ciudad es bastante chula y siguiendo el esquema tipico de arquitectura en el Reino Unido.

Destacan un auditorio de musica con forma de gusano, un castillo y la zona de los puentes que si no me equivoco uno de ellos es el segundo mas grande del Reino Unido siguiendo al de la capital Londres. Aqui os cuelgo unas fotos que he tirado con el movil desde la planta de arriba del double decker.

Pain

Today I've been all day suffering because yesterday I injured myself during the training. We were running around Arthur's seat and afterwards we were doing other exercises. It was after one of them when my calf nearly explote. The pain is like if you were cutting my calf with a broken glass of a bottle. I couldn't sleep propertly last night eigther. I went to my first day at school as well and I couldn't walk well. The course sounded really interesting but is going to be difficult to me because of my poor knowledge of english language. Anyway I'll try to do my best.
I'm not working at the cinema yet because they are supposed to call me during this week and I'm still waiting for it. I'm happy with the timetable because I've got classes just from Monday to Wednesday. Tomorrow I'm going to Newcastle so I'll tell you how is it going there. Hopefully my pain will be finish by tomorrow to enjoy the trip.
