Gig in Spain

I've been talking with some friends and also with the guys who I used to play music and we'll probably play in a place called "El 13" by the end of December or the beginning of January. I'm quite happy with this idea but I think is gonna be a disaster because we don't play together for ages. I don't know the details yet but if we finally play I would let you know and you can have a laugh if you are in Madrid by then. BOTANIC GARDENS AND WHAT A SURPRISE ANOTHER PARTY

Yesterday the recruitment agency gave me my first job. I had to go to the Botanic Gardens to word as a kitchen porter in a Cafeteria. It was the easiest job I've ever done in my life. I was working in a small kitchen with another spaniard who was very drunk. It was very nice guy from the Basque Country and I even enjoyed working with him. The kitchen was smaller than the one where I usually work at the college. They gave us lunch as well and the people were very friendly. I hope the agency call me again to work over there.
Later on Darren called me to go to his flat because his friend Aga and other Aga's friends were there. I just called Daniel from my job and we were for about 10 people at the end at his flat. They were drinking and smoking a lot but I knew interesting people over there. The night finished not really good for Darren because he was completaly drunk. I had to hold him to his flat because we moved to Rado's for a while just a moment before. Erika a nice girl from Slovaquia took some beutiful pictures of this party and I hope she is sending me it soon to post them here.

MP3 KK o mala suerte?

No se si os ha dado por comprar algun reproductor MP3 alguna vez. Yo ya he cambiado este cacharro por lo menos 4 o cinco veces. No se como seran los Ipods de Apple de fiables, pero he probado con varias marcas de reproductor mp3 y todos me han salido rana, son una puta mierda. El ultimo en joderse ha sido un Walkman de Sony que me costo 100 libras y cuya garantia sabe dios donde anda que es lo que mas me jode del asunto. El problema de todos estos cacharros es que llegado un punto se quedan percha y si eran de bateria extraible, el problema se resuelve al simplemente cambiando la pila, mas al final se acababa auto apagando. Esto me ocurrio con un modelo Samsung bastante guapo con el cual incluso podia pasar informacion de mi sintetizador. Seria que le di demasiada cana?. El segundo en joderse fue otro Samsung por el que cambie el primero, que pese a ser mas nuevo, era peor y acabo por auto apagarse tambien el muy puta. Este Samsung se cargaba a traves del puerto USB y cuando se quedaba colgado tenia que volverlo a enchufar en un ordenador. El siguiente cambio fue aun peor, pedi algo de dinero de vuelta mas un mp3 player con menos memoria a ver si asi salia mejor. Este mp3 fue de marca Creative y solo me duro un pelin mas que el segundo aunque el sonido se fue jodiendo de manera gradual. Al final los bajos acababan retumbando y no era un problema de los auriculares como yo pensaba. Al final se cabreo conmigo como los demas y decidio auto apagarse como sus primos aunque la garantia ya no me lo iba a cubrir y se iban a pensar en la tienda que me estaba quedando con ellos.
Sabeis que yo sin musica no puedo vivir y queria preguntaros si habeis tenido este problema o es solo que yo les doy mas cana de la que pueden soportar, o simplemente tengo mala suerte. Merece la pena comprar un Ipod o me recomendais que vuelva al reproductor de CDs o Cassettes que no daban tanto el conazo??

Cinemaniac

Everybody knows that I work in a fucking cinema in Edinburgh and I can see the movies for free for that. Last weekend I went to the cinema twice and I'd like to tell you what did I see. First movie I saw was "Borat". I recommend everyone to go and see this funny comedy. I was crying in the cinema because is very hilarious. This is a video from this movie.

Second film I watched was "The Prestige". Is quite slow movie about two magicians who are in competition of fame and have some problems each other. In my opinion the best thing in that movie is Scarlet Johanson and David Bowie because he seems very old.

Fed up of looking for a job

Hello my friends. I'm really tired of looking for a job. There are many places where there're adverts trying to recruite people but despite the fact I'm giving to them application forms and CVs they don't call me. I registrated myself in for about two or three recruitment agencies however they don't give me a job. My future plans when I go back to Edinburgh from my Christmas holidays will be a change in my life. I want to look for a proper job and finish with the kitchens and the cinemas. I think my english is good enough (jajajaja) to get a better job here. I'm gonna try in the airport because I have some experience with planes. I used to be a pilot in Spain how you already know. After my course I'm thinking in moving flat and go to another city like Glasgow or Newcastle for a chance but I still have to think more about this idea because is soon and there are so many things to do so on. Rush, Lava and Blanca's Flat

Yesterday we went to have Gonzo's party to Rush bar. We were for about 10 people over there and we were waiting for Nikodem for more than an hour. I broke my promise of no alcohol and I was drinking vodka with coke. I finally get drunk despite the fact I didn't drink too much. After a few drinks we were to Lava but some people stayed at Rush because they were dressed unpropertly to get in a nightclub.


We went to LAVA but the time ran very fast over there and they closed. The French girls went back home after LAVA and just four people went to Blanca's flat party.


The party was Ok but there weren't drinks left. We just played some games like "the bottle" and we were chatting until late. We finish for about 7am. I went home with Darren who was very drunk and we were skating through the streets of Edinburgh with a scooter which Darren found in the street. I show you some pictures from the party.

Se me cae la baba

Hey gum@s que pasa? Aun sigo buscando algo para hacer los fines de semana.(de curro me refiero) Un amigo se supone que va a preguntar por mi en su curro aunque nunca me contesta al movil, mi jefe en el college va a preguntar en un hotel que hay al lado del college pues conoce a los gerentes y en una agencia temporal no paran de darme pegas con las movidas que tengo que presentarles. Este fin de semana ha sido como los demas: paso muy rapido, como las tias de mi y ninguna novedad. Estuve en una fiesta universitaria en una residencia. Mucha gente y pocas nueces, al final acabe en un pub con unas cuantas francesas y un polaco que conozco pero cuando mejor me lo estaba pasando cerraron y me tuve que ir para casa. El domingo me fui con Edu al cine a ver Open Season y a los 5 minutos me quede tronchado y me perdi toda la pelicula. Edu dice que me caia la baba y que estuve roncando y me lo creo.

Time Crisis

I'm not talking about the computer video game, I'm talking about real life. In that moment I'm really fucked up. I'm skint and I've to survive with just £70 until the 23th of this month, I've got a lot of assessments to do and also the girls are laughing at me.
This situation started when the college cut my hours because they said they didn't have a budget to pay my extra hours, however, another guy is doing extra hours. Can anybody explain me that?.
In my other job the managers decided to sack my supervisor and the new one is not so friendly and I'm not really happy. They used to pay me weekly and that was cool for me but now they pay monthly and the salary is completaly rubbish. Actually I'm looking for a temporary job for the weekends because I don't know what's gonna happen if I don't find none. I can't look for a serious one because I'm going to Spain at Christmas and they are not going to employ me for that.
On the other hand my love life is a disaster as well. I know one girl who is playing a strange game with me and she shoudn't know that she is hurting my feelings.
